• History •
Wyatt & Associates originated as a sole proprietorship of architect Greg Wyatt in 1991. After 18 years in the field, the company continues in its mission to create buildings that allow viewers to simultaneously experience past and future, convention and innovation, and classical tradition and regionalism. While Wyatt & Associates has designed various public buildings and community venues, the majority of the studio’s portfolio consists of large and small scale, high end residential commissions. Wyatt & Associates designs each commission with a care and diligence that is a little known phenomenon in an age of strip malls and mass produced homes. Every detail, from the strategic layout of the plan to fit the landscape, to the detailing of cabinetry and appliances, to the design of ventilation grates and lighting fixtures, is considered and individually drawn. After receiving a commission, Wyatt & Associates takes on full responsibility for designing every aspect of that project including the interior, exterior, garden, and architectural accoutrements of the building. Upon entering a Wyatt & Associates commission, viewers familiar with the field of architecture and novices alike have noted the extreme dedication and skill of the studio which has carefully designed the space and every detail of the project, creating a building that is not only a well planned series of rooms to reside in, but a work of art.
